Tasting Notes : The color is dark purple, with good concentration. The nose is very pleasant, redolent of wild red fruits and spices... The mouth is gorgeous with good volume and freshness. This wine is well structured round and elegant. This firm wine has black-currant and red-plum fruit, nicely integrated with the dry core.
Food pairing : Perfect with all your meals as much as with starters. This wine will marvelously accompany a roast beef. Try it with chocolate, desserts, it will become a delightful surprise.
Background : Château Grand Marchand belongs to the Barthez Family. Jean Marc Barthez, the actual owner, his wife Eliane, and their children, are working at the Property and in their vineyard with the care and the experience of old generation vinegrowers.
